I’m currently the vice president of MUIDS Red Cross Youth Club. We launched our first project on helping a primary school in a rural part of Nakhon Pathom renovate their school. We decided to adopt brain-based learning to repaint the school’s facilities, the wall and other decorations with different colours, and to write numbers, letters and words in several colours to allow peripheral learning. The purpose is for the kids to be more interested in those objects and engaged to learning at the same time. In addition, we also renovated water tanks into toilets. I learned that there are many schools where educational support is insufficient. So, those who have should give back to those who lack.

Serving the Red Cross Youth Volunteer Club of the school as a vice president, I have been responsible for many roles including making posters, running club meetings, working on administrative tasks, proposing volunteering activities, and hosting events for the club members. Apart from such managerial skills, participating in this club alongside joining other volunteering activities organised by nonprofit-organisations, I realised that not everyone was born with the same opportunities; thus, the ones who were born with more opportunities should know how to utilise their fortune to make the world a better place, of course, not only for themselves, but also their world mates as a whole.
